FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Pilates is for everyone, no matter where you’re starting out. Take any group mat class as a beginner. If you are interested in a reformer class, I highly recommend taking a private lesson first so you can get to know the machine and I can get to know you and your goals. Kindly click the Pricing button above to see intro packages available!

  • Grip socks are required for all reformer classes. Please leave your phone in the car or on silent- no phone usage during class. Please bring a water bottle and you can bring your own mat if you’d like, although we provide mats!

  • If you are interested in mat, you can take a group mat class as they are beginner friendly!

    If you are interested in the reformer, it is required to have prior experience before taking the mat & reformer combo class so you are familiar with the reformer. Contact me to book a private session or join a Beginner Reformer Class, held once per month.

  • 2490 Main Rd. Tiverton, RI in the rear of the building

    Facing the building, pull into the back lot on the left and you’’ll see a small staircase on the right leading to The Pilates Room.

  • Please arrive 10 minutes before class start time. If a class is finishing when you arrive, please be thoughtful and keep your voice to a whisper. Arriving late disrupts the flow of the class and it is most important that we are respecting other student’s practices.

  • We have a 12 hour cancellation window prior to the start of class. You can do so on Punchpass.

    Cancelling outside the 12 hour window is considered an early cancellation and you will still hold that class in Punchpass.

    Cancelling within the 12 hour window is considered a late cancellation and you will be charged the full amount for the class. You will forfeit the class if you have a class pass.

    This is to be sure we are all respecting each other’s time and commitment to our practice!

  • Absolutely. If you’ve had clearance from your physician to include exercise in your routine, you are encouraged to join a class. I follow the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists guidelines and can easily include them in a class if you are pregnant. Pilates is safe and beneficial during pregnancy.

  • You can participate as long as you’ve had medical clearance to do so. I will modify your practice where it is needed.
